Fuller’s ESB

Fuller’s, London, England
ESB (Extra Special Bitter)
5.9% ABV
0.5 liter bottle

Suggested beer reviewing music: The Smiths – Half a Person

This beer isn’t absolutely ace, but it certainly isn’t bobbins either. It was worth taking a few secs to bodge out a review.

This much-awarded brew from West London is malty and slightly sour with a hint of sugared oranges. The style Extra Special Bitter (ESB), despite its name, tends to be less bitter than many American pale ales. This ESB has a very subdued hops-profile and weighs in at a fairly unassuming 5.9% ABV. Low carbonation.

Put on your footy boots and get knackered. Pip pip.
